Shining a spotlight on another recent completion within Frasers Property Industrial Canvas West Logistics estate, a 27,569 sqm facility (of which 12,016 sqm was leased by @komatsu_australia) completed late last year.

In addition to the 25,049 sqm completed last year at the National Tiles and Knauf facility - as well as the 70,000 sqm facility for VidaXL completed in 2022 - this brings our total sqm delivered at Canvas West to over 120,000 sqm.

A staple on Texco Construction sites, we hope Komatsu Australia find their new home as reliable as we find their heavy-equipment on-site.

What was on your menu for Friday takeaway last week? The Texco NSW team had a choice of Canadian, Portuguese, Italian, Macedonian and HEAPS more as they came together to celebrate an impromptu culture day in the office over Friday drinks.

Not that we need much of an excuse to get stuck into some good food, members of the NSW contingent were encouraged to bring in some food (or drink) that represents their heritage and share that with the group!

From the looks of it I think this is a good bet to become a staple of the NSW Texco social calendar over the next few years.

The site is prepped, and work ready to commence, at our second active project with Dexus in NSW - their 24,000 sqm facility in Chester Hill.

Recently the team had a great time celebrating the commencement of work on-site with a well-catered and sunny sod-turn on a chilly Tuesday morning.

In addition to the 17,900 sqm Velociti Industrial Estate development in Moorebank, we’ll be working on over 41,000 sqm with Dexus in NSW.

We look forward to sharing construction updates as work progresses through to completion.

Structural steel is complete, external cladding up and the roof on at Charter Hall’s 18,677 sqm facility at CoreWest Logistics Estate in Truganina.

Located within their 32-hectare master-planned logistics estate, this facility is targeting a 5-star Green Star As Built Rating.

With completion just around the corner, stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work closely with our project partners to bring this project to life.

Last week we had the chance to visit Windsor High School as part of our ongoing relationship with @kari_australia and their ‘Greater Western Sydney Opportunity Hub’ programme.

It was a great chance for Scott and Ava to provide an insight into who we are, an overview of the Sydney Industrial Construction Market as well as the many and varied potential career pathways available in Industrial Design and Construction for these young people.

A big thank you to the Kari Foundation for enabling this opportunity to share our insights with the students at Windsor High School and we look forward to welcoming our work experience student in September.

Works are progressing within Stage 2 at Aliro Group’s Somerville Road Estate in Tottenham. This 51,230 sqm speculative facility is fast taking shape, with structural steel complete, roofing underway and internal concrete slabs about to commence!

Located just 10km west of Melbourne CBD and 9km from the Port of Melbourne, this prime location, coupled with the surrounding high-density residential catchment, is already attracting substantial interest from prospective tenants for its excellent freight and rail connectivity.

With works progressing at such a rapid pace at Stage 2, we’re also making significant headway on Stage 3, a 22,000 sqm speculative cold storage facility. Together, these projects will bring over 80,000 sqm of premium industrial space to the Somerville Road Estate.

The first of two completion posts to be profiled at repeat client’s Frasers Property Industrial Canvas West Estate over the coming weeks this dual-tenancy 25,049 sqm facility, completed late last year, is now home to @nationaltilesau and @knaufaustralia.

One of Australia’s most recognised brands – National Tiles imports over 2700 containers and three million metres of tiles annually, holding in excess of $20 million worth of stock. And, while you might not be as likely to hear their name pop-up on the radio as often as their Canvas West neighbour, the family-owned Knauf are known as one of the leading manufacturers of modern insulation materials plasters and accessories since their inception in 1932.

Homes for these two fantastic tenants wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of the site and project teams throughout the delivery of this project as well as the continued support and collaboration of Frasers Property Group.

There are few more hotly anticipated Texco events than our annual Wine and Cheese night - both of which featured prominently (and of course, consumed responsibility) last Friday night.

While last year we took a tour around the French provincial wine regions, this year the Yarra Valley based @thewineanimal took us on a wine journey a little closer to home.

With a Tasmanian Blanc De Blanc, Yarra Valley Rose, Mornington Peninsula Point and Margaret River Chardonnay (just to name a few) generously poured and perused - the clear consensus was that Australian wine is as good as it gets.

Two facilities - and 52,618 sqm - delivered, now home to four exceptional tenants!

Over the past few months, members of the project and site teams have attended tenant welcome events for National Tiles, Komatsu, and Knauf at Frasers Property Industrial Canvas West estate.

Seeing these household names settle into their new spaces is incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to working with Frasers Property to continue to deliver best-in-class facilities into the future.

Activity on-site is accelerating towards completion at @isptproperty’s 18,360 sqm Bessemer Business Park in Blacktown, NSW.

Construction at Lot 9 Bessemer St is moving swiftly with steel erection complete and the roof nearing its final stages of installation.

This marks a significant milestone for our client ISPT as this will be the final facility within the Business Park to take shape. Situated just 30km west of the Sydney CBD, Bessemer Business Park is an ideal location for businesses looking for prime-grade logistics solutions.

An exciting addition to our growing pipeline of work with Aliro Group at its Somerville Road Estate in Tottenham with the third and final stage - a 21,000 sqm speculative cold storage facility - recently awarded to Texco. Once completed this will total over 80,000 sqm of built form constructed by Texco on this impressive estate.

 

Not your run of the mill speculative build, this cold-storage facility is one of the first of its kind to be developed speculatively in Victoria and has been designed with maximum flexibility in mind to accommodate its future tenants.

 

Targeting a 5-star Green Star rating, the awarding of the third and final stage at Aliro’s Somerville Road development is in addition to the 51,320 sqm currently under construction at Stage 2 and 9,310 sqm completed at Stage 1.

With over 135,000 sqm currently under construction for @goodman.group across Victoria and NSW, we are thrilled to announce that we have been chosen to deliver their 26,000 sqm Axle West project in Eastern Creek, NSW.

Situated within a tightly held, low vacancy pocket of New South Wales, this rare Development Approved site has already been committed to a customer.

This collaboration marks another milestone in our long-term relationship with Goodman and we’re excited to work closely with them to deliver this A-grade industrial facility.

Congratulations to Ayrton Solar (Vic) and Scott Porth (NSW) who took out their respective state title of this year’s Texco Poker Champion - the rest of us will get to work on our Poker Faces.

Congratulations to our client, The GPT Group, for achieving 5-star Green Star certification for their 27,212 sqm Gateway Stages 4+5 Facility at The Gateway Logistics Hub in Truganina.

Completed in 2023 and now tenanted by @daikinaustralia and Nature’s Best, this certification is a testament to The GPT Group’s collective efforts towards sustainability, with the project offsetting 9,684 tonnes of Carbon during construction, making it Carbon Neutral.

Additionally, the project is predicted to save 601,311 kWh of electricity and 2,133kL of potable water per annum.

It has been great to work with The GPT Group across all six stages of their 140,000 sqm Gateway Logistics Hub and we are proud of their achievement to receive this certification. An extended thank you to the Project Team and Sustainable Development Consultants who made it possible for us to contribute to this achievement.

Moorebank is bustling with activity with civil works complete and footings underway for the 17,946 sqm development at the Velociti Industrial Estate for valued client Dexus.

Featuring six individual tenancies, with sizes ranging from 2,000 sqm to 3,250 sqm, this project offers unparalleled access to key road, rail, and airport infrastructure.

With its strategic positioning near the M5 Motorway and direct links to Sydney’s first 24/7 freight airport, future tenants can achieve super-fast, cost-effective deliveries making it a highly sought-after location.

Jeez, these run clubs are gaining some traction …

Well done to the 10 members of our Sydney team who slogged out 21.1km at the Hoka Half Marathon over the weekend.

Despite some last-ditch efforts to claim shin splints as an out, all Texco participants crossed the finish line with a smile/grimace on their face and an unfathomable amount of lactic acid in their legs.

So much room for activities!

Earlier in the month the Victorian team celebrated the re-opening of a redecorated and expanded office with a classic Texco shindig … full of shit shirts, special performances and plenty of laughs.

Featuring a live guitar set performed by our very own David ‘Fender’ Pessato, DJ sets from internationally renowned artists ‘Accounts Payable Fulton’ and Thommy Grant all the way through to Matt Barker’s “interesting” choice of shirt … It’s safe to say the team are excited about their newfound office space.

Earlier this week we celebrated the completion of Cadence Property Group and Centuria Capital Group’s 45,000+ sqm M80 Connect Industrial Estate in Campbellfield.

Situated in the heart of Melbourne’s Northern Industrial market, this estate is made up of three facilities with the potential to be split into five individual tenancies ranging from 3,351 sqm to 21,994 sqm.

A big shout-out to the dedicated project and site team for their hard work delivering these exceptional facilities and thank you to Cadence Property Group and Centuria Capital Group for entrusting us with this project. We’re looking forward to many more collaborations in the future!

It’s almost time to welcome @provincialhomeliving to their new 22,500 sqm home at repeat client @goodman.group’s RBR Hub in Truganina.

The roof is on, external hardstands complete, and the final touches to the office fit-out are about to begin.

The 88-hectare RBR Hub is buzzing with ongoing developments and our team is busy delivering over 90,000 sqm across the estate.
